Alan is well known in Ealing as the founder of the Friends of St. Mary’s, Perivale, which he set up as an Arts and Music Centre twenty-
Alan also specialises in ‘Living History’ performances at St. Mary‘s, with impersonations of Chaucer, Dickens, Shakespeare, Dr. Johnson, Tennyson and Betjeman – and he is no stranger to orchestral narration with the Ealing Symphony Orchestra.
A note from Professor Alan Gillett: “It is an honour that I have been asked to become a Patron of CAPE for which I am delighted to accept. I am aware of the marvellous work you do for individuals living in the London Borough of Ealing suffering with mental health needs.”
